Every Above + Within flight is planned, authorized, and flown under a consistent process, before a single photo is taken. This is how it works.

Flights are conducted by Vincent Dean Boyce under an FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate, current and in good standing, with all aircraft operating in compliance with FAA Remote ID requirements.

Liability coverage is confirmed and in force before mobilization on every engagement. Certificates of insurance are provided on request.

Every flight starts with a pre-flight risk assessment: weather, obstacles, airspace, and site conditions reviewed before equipment leaves the case. Flights are flown within visual line of sight, with conservative weather minimums and a standard safety check before, during, and after every operation.

Flights in controlled airspace are authorized in advance through LAANC or the appropriate FAA authorization pathway. Exterior operations are conducted under FAA Part 107, with no exceptions taken for schedule or convenience. Indoor operations fall outside the National Airspace System and follow a separate site-specific indoor flight and safety protocol.

No flight is scheduled without confirmed authorization from the property owner or an authorized representative. Access and scope are agreed on before the flight, not negotiated on-site.

Some jurisdictions require notice or coordination beyond FAA rules. When a site falls under local requirements, that coordination happens ahead of the flight, as part of standard planning, not as an afterthought.

Capture is scoped to the property under engagement. Above + Within does not photograph or retain imagery of neighboring properties or individuals beyond what's incidental to the flight, and site data is handled confidentially.
